First Ident for First Logo

End Result:

Added Sounds:

This video has added sound effects which make the ident sound better, I used premiere pro to add theses sounds that I recorded using a camera and a zoom recorder. I had recorder the shutter sound on the camera and then a ruler vibrating to make the bouncing sounds that you hear when the boom pole and microphone appear into frame.

Updated End Result:

Process:

It is the same as the previous one however, I have added some flashes to add effect, I did this using the strobe light effect on premiere pro, key framing each flash it tie with the shutter clicks. I think that it looks better, this was done using the feedback given by Maria about my previous Ident.

Added Music:

Process:

This video shows the process of me creating the music of my Ident. I used Logic Pro 9 and my Midi controller to make it.

End Result:

Process:

First I opened up Adobe After Effect and called my new project/composition ‘Ident for First Logo’ then I had imported each element of my ident into the software. Once that was done I used multiple key frames so that I could make the background zoom in, followed by the camera and the brand name. After that, I thought it was it was a bit plain so I had used the glow effect in Effect&Presets and added the glow effect. Then, I did some more key framing and I key framed the effect so that it could fade in and out as if the camera was taking a picture. Next, I added the composition to render queue and adjusted the settings, the format was H.264 and the output name was Ident for First Logo2 and uploaded it to Youtube.

Added Sound:

Process:

This shows the process shown above. I used premiere pro to add the sound effects and speed up the video, I used a zoom recorder to record stutter/ click sounds for my Ident. It was very simple to do because I only needed two clicks.

New Idea/New Ident for First Logo

Process:

Firstly, I used Illustrator to create the back of the Canon 550D, doing each piece of detail on it using the pen tool and new layers, then I started it using exactly the same colours as I did the the front of the camera (Purple, yellow, green, black and added some grey). Next, I save it as a PNG and opened up after effect using the previous idents file so that I could add on the new aspect to my ident.

Once it was opened I had imported the back of the canon that I did in Illustrator and added it to the composition. I did a few key frames so that I could zoom in and fade out, also I added a shape where the red circle is so it looked like it was flashing. After I moved the zoom in for the logo and the brand name so that it could come in after and then it was finished. So I render the composition and gave it a name.

Then I used Premiere pro to added the clicks that you hear in the video, they are freshly recorded sounds.

Updated Ident

Process:

It is the same as the other one except I had switched the glow effect around so that it glows whilst in the camera. I did that by moving the key frames that I had done previously and then rendered the composition and give it a name.

Added Music

Process:

First I had opened Logic Pro 9 then I clicked empty project. I wanted music that reflects me so I had clicked every type of Drum Kit and String set etc and I found and cinematic sound. It is called the beam sound, after that I found a String instrumental on there and I used my midi controller create a sound on top of that. But I need a sort of base sound to contrast the high so I did I can’t remember what it was called but it created the deep tone that is heard.Once that was done I had used the EQ set up and modified each aspect in conjunction with that I adjust the volume so that it is levelled to how I want it. To tie everything up I had used to Multiprocessor and then bounce the music. After that I opened up premiere pro so that I could match the video with the music and then I rendered and exported the video. Uploading it to Youtube.

End Result:

Process:

This shows you the process of how I did the end result ident shown above.

Updated End Result:

It is the same as the first attempt except there is no white border around the blue circle along with the circles being more symmetrical. In addition, I had enlarged the brand names so that it fits the circle more and it’s quite faster than before.

Added Sounds:

I used sounds such the stutter click which I recorded using a zoom recorder and microphone. Then, I used an Old Movie Projector sound effect for the blue circle’s spin. Importing these sounds from the computer to premiere pro.
