Locations

The Square  – Argyle road – Aaron Kills Lily

These places are where the first scene of the movie is being filmed, these locations are always empty is there are hardly any disturbances or loud noise which is great for me because I don’t want too much background noise because then it is harder to achieve the clear sound. Furthermore, I like the look of the area, it looks deserted, scary and it not clustered with things that will take the audience’s eye of the characters (Aaron and Lily). I think that my will benefit if I use this location and I think that this is a great location to introduce the audience to too. Plus, there’s hiding space for Kelly because she witnesses all of the murder.

Kelly’s House

The scene at the end of the film will be shot at my house because I have access to my own house and it is very convenient for me. It has every that I need to do each part of the scene such as the kitchen she makes his coffee in, my bedroom where Aaron gets hit in the head , a living room where Aaron get tied up etc. Also, I know where everything so the production of the film will run smoother and faster than if it wasn’t my house. I think that there’s enough space to film and move around so it will be an excellent place to film. I don’t have an alternative location because I know my house will be free to use.

Aaron’s House

This is the second house location that I have in the script and will be using in my film, I asked my granddad if I could use his house to film and he gave me the approval. There’s a lot of space to film and the scenes will be easier to film. I like how granddad’s house is laid out because really like the colours in the kitchen it will make the scene look nicer and it is very quiet is their minimal unnecessary sound, which means that the sound is going to be clearer. I don’t have ab alternative location so this had to be the location, my granddad didn’t mind me shooting there and I’m grateful for that and I have thanked him.

Aaron Meets Courtney – The Street Outside The House

Courtney will meet Aaron here, this is just outside my granddad’s house. It is not far to get to and hardly anyone walks by and there is hardly any noise except for reversing cars sometimes. This sloped hill is a pivotal aspect in the production of my film so I need to film here.

The picnic park

Main Park

This is the park I will be using for my creative media project. I think this location is handy and it would be a great background for the scene. Also, I think this is a good place to film in because there’s so much green grass which is suitable for my film.

Alternative Parks

 

These are alternative parks in case the main park is busy or crowded, I think that it is good to have a backup location just in case the main one falls through. I went to these parks and I think that they are great parks to film in as a backup.

Market

Instead of going to a market a decided to go film at a stall where they sell fruit so that it looks like the main character is in the market for the flashback.

Main Market

This stall the near the main park location and will not take long to get to because it is on the other side of the road. This stall looks great for the scene that I’m doing along with it being near a skip that I could Kelly to hide behind or next to. This location is acceptable, however, I do have an alternative location which down below.

Alternative Market

This stall is near to my house which means that it would take long to get the, also, the owner knows me so they wouldn’t mind me using it for a very short flashback scene. The stall has a lot of fruit and I think that it is an advantage the story.
