This Interactive Media Project was very insightful considering I have never done an interactive video before. I have learnt a lot on this subject throughout the project for example, how a simple storyline can be very effective and enjoyable.
At the beginning of the assignment brief I felt that we were off to a great start, which is described in the diary. I think that we worked well as a group me and Tiara, giving Jeremy direct instructions on what his role would be and what everyone role would be in general.
Another positive aspect was the different pathways that me and Tia came up with because we had a good amount and it wouldn’t be too short or too long. Also, the context of each pathway (what the different pathways would be).
In addition to that, everyone was open to different ideas, no one was closed minded, which was good because if we were closed minded then we wouldn’t even have an interactive video.
Unfortunately, there were so negative parts of the project, for example, not everyone contributed to the task at hand, I felt it was just Tia and I coming up with everything. Another negative aspect of this project was that we focused more on Unit 6 then Unit 7, which I dislike because they were clashing and finally not everyone was reliable, which is reflected in my diary.
Throughout this project I have learnt how to give constructive criticism so that the project can be improve a bit. Also, I have learnt that not everyone is as dedicated when doing group projects, which is why you need to pick the allies wisely. I liked the overall outcome of our interactive video on youtube
