Here are the mind maps that I done using http://www.credoreference.com. These mind maps were created using keywords from Theme.

• Dementia
• Repression, Organic

Two useful words related to my theme. Dementia relating to memory loss but that type of memory loss is due to old age and Repression, Organic which is linked to Anterograde Amnesia which is talked about on my blog. These words will help my work by helping me figure out what other things are related to the theme.

• Deja vu
• Head Injury

Deja vu , a feeling of having experienced a current situation, this relates to my theme because when you have Amnesia you have to recreate memories which means you have to do something that you have previously done before to jog the brain. Furthermore, head injury relates to the them Amnesia because that is one way that people can develop it. Theses words will benefit my work.

• Behaviour therapy

Caring relates to Amnesia because that is the kind of natured personality will have to have/ do have towards people with amnesia whether it is the therapist or the person’s family because otherwise the person will have no sense of support and may not recover as quick as well as being alone which is probably not a nice feeling to have. Behaviour therapy uses learning techniques to help people with mental illnesses. These will be helpful to my work because I could use theses keywords to either dishearten the audience or uplift the audience..

• Memory, long term
• Hypnosis

Memory, long term relates to the theme because it is the part of the brain that holds each persons memories and things we need to remember for a long period of time and having Amnesia means that part of the brain is damaged, making you lose memories. Also, Hypnosis. Hypnosis is a method in which memories are recovered however, it does not always work but they still use it in therapy. This will assist my work because hypnosis could be a way to recover memories in my TV pilot and I am thinking of using long term memory loss in my episode.

• Sound

Sound because you have the 5 senses, sound, sight, touch, smell & taste. This is related Amnesia because listening to familiar sounds may bring back a person memories which is good. In addition, relativity, having Amnesia may relate to a numerous amount of people and the ways people may develop Amnesia. These words will benefit my work because it has helped me think about how it relates to people as well as if I want to do a scene where my main character remember something because they had heard a familiar tune or voice etc.

• Anterograde Amnesia
• Shock Therapy

Anterograde Amnesia relates to the theme because it is a type of Amnesia, which is the scientific word for short term memory loss. This means that a patient can not/ find it hard store new information for a long period for time, this will help my work because I can choose whether I want my character to have Retrograde or Anterograde Amnesia. Furthermore, shock therapy also known as electroconvulsive therapy is used to treat people with severe depression, sending a certain amount of electric currents to the brain, this might help my project because shock therapy is mostly for people with severe depression and character may or may not have depression.

• Information Processing

Information processing relates to the them Amnesia. we all use our brain to process new information given to us, whether it’s a story from your mother or a maths equation, anything. Unfortunately, when you have Amnesia it is hardly or in some cases impossible to do so. In addition to that, each person’s brain structure is very important each function is crucial when functioning our brain so when one part is damaged then the brain is damaged, each part of the brain is trying to repair the wound but it takes time which is linked to Amnesia because over time memories do come back however, in some cases they don’t, but you get the idea. These words will help my work because it has made think about how the brain works and how important it is.

• Psychologist

Mental Illness is related to Amnesia because people say that Amnesia is a mental illness because it is a condition that causes disorder in a person’s behaviour or way of thinking. This will help me with project it has made think about what things he could have on top of the amnesia. Not to mention, Psychologist, Psychologists deal with people who develop Amnesia, they will benefit my work because my main character could go to one in my TV pilot.
