Tell about yourself
I’m a determined individual, enthusiastic and eager to learn new things whilst at your organisation. I am a good listener and I grasp information at a considerable pace.
why are you interested in working here?
I have an interest in working here because ever since I was 12 I had a passion for filming and media. I film anything I could for example, fake interviews, then when I hit fourteen I would apply to do film courses organised by the Camden Summer University programme, which was amazing because I had met new people who liked the course as much as I did. Working as a team to create something that we had visualised, I just want to make other people’s idea can to life as well as myself.
What is your favourite thing about this industry?
The favourite thing about the film industry is the diversity, for example, you can be a cameraman/women, editor,director, producer etc. There are many roles to fill. I love filming and producing creative storylines and working with people that are as dedicated as you are because they want to see you succeed.
What makes you right for this position?
I am right for this position because I am motivated and I put in a large amount of enough in everything that I do.
What do you bring to the organisation?
I am currently doing a Level 3 course on Creative Media production and consists of using premiere pro when editing footage together, so I can bring my knowledge of software. Furthermore, I have done many film courses in the past so I have learnt quite a lot working in a group environment and share ideas constructively which is beneficial.
What qualities do you bring of the role?
I’m on time, I’m enthusiastic, positive (optimistic) and I get along other, some the qualities you need a work environment as well as that personality in general.
Describe a difficult situation that you have had to deal with – were you successful?
I was filming a scene for a film Unfortunately, my leading actor did not show up and needed to film. So, what did was cast somebody else, my friend Rose was there and she was willing to do it. After that, I had asked her teacher if I use her for one lesson, he said yes and then we started to film. The answer is yes I was successful in dealing with a difficult situation.
What do you enjoy about your course?
I enjoy the fact that people know when to be serious and focused, and when to have fun and enjoy yourself, there’s a good balance.
What are your main weaknesses – how do you deal with them?
My main weakness is assertiveness towards some of the people around me, which I’m working on.
