A target audience is a particular group of people who you aim your product at? such as film or advertisement. One example is the cartoon show called Little Einstein that show is aimed at ages 4 and under, however, older people can watch it as well.
What age do you think my TV pilot (first episode) is aimed at?
I have asked quite a few of my peer what age they thought my TV pilot/show would be aimed at.

What Sheila said was The target audience depends on what is included in my film. The contents of my film could be PG so, it would be more for teenagers however, it could be for older people if there are more adult components in it, but for now the target audience are teenagers.
The feedback given was written by a 17 year old female named Sheila, this piece of feedback has helped me consider the target group for my proposal. because the episode will involve young people and adults.
In addition, while some parts involves violence and strong language, this piece of feedback has advised me on how to rate my programme whether it will be a PG or not. This point is crucial when you are scripting a play or a drama and failure to do so may lead to legal issues (suing) by the viewer.
The feedback given was written by a 17 year old male named Kevin, has suggested that my TV pilot is aim at teenagers, this comment has my mind closer in choosing the target audience for my final major project.
The feedback shown above was written by a 15 year old male named Hung, the base line age of 12 years old, is acceptable while the top line age is okay but could be extended (watched by over 19’s as well. This has broaden my mindset in what age range my programme would be aimed at.

I will consider this comment when I come to a decision on what age my TV pilot’s target audience is.

The feedback shown above was written by a 17 year old female named Maria. I support this statement because it goes well with the previous comment, with the baseline being 12, 13 and the top line being any age above those.
The feedback shown above was written by a 17 year old female named Peony. Peony’s proposal for the baseline age of 15 is acceptable. However, I will consider lowering it to 12 because I feel it should be watched by people under 15.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, based on the feedback that I have received from my peers, have suggests that the baseline age should be a minimum of 12 years old. The baseline age of 12, suggested by my peers seems to fall in line with the target age group that I have envisioned for my final major. I appreciate their suggestions in that the baseline age should be 12 and over however, I have decided to go with the baseline age I have chosen which is a minimum of 10 years and above. I hope that my decision will be beneficial in the end.
