The Park (for the Flashback)

There are three different parks that I had to choose from to use for my flashback.

Location 1

I like this park because it was open and there is bench where the couple can sit which makes it a perfect location to shot in. However, my flashback scene is during the night time and the park closes at 8:30 pm, then is when it starts to get dark so this location is not going to work out for me due to that reason. This is Regent Square park.

Location 2

 

This is a great location to film in because is has a bench and in the night time it looks great, however, this park closes 8:50pm which is too early to close because I need to film in the night so I am unable to film there, therefore I can not use it. This is Judd Street park.

Location 3

My mother founds this location, it didn’t have a closing time so I had asked the locals and they informed me that sometimes its closed and sometimes it is not so hopefully if we use it. It may not be closed at all which was good to hear so, I could use it for my scene.

The Street (Alternative Location for FlashBack)

The location is next to the park, it has a side to sit on and a parkway to walk down. The reason why I decided to choose here instead of the park is because it looked better.

Tyler’s Neighbourhood (the area he lives in)

The reason I am using shots of the area is for an established shot, so that the audience have a sense of location.

Tyler’s House

I will shooting the scenes that are inside my house, the reason why is because the other actors are not allowed anyone at their house. In addition to that, it is nearer which means that less travel with equipment and I know the what the area is like, so I do not always have to be cautious about my surroundings. Also, I know how much space I will need so it would be easier because I know my own house and if it is spacious or not.

The Living Room

The living room is used after the title sequence and Tyler is sitting in the middle of the room watching TV. It is very spacious which is good. I like this location because it is exactly how I had visualised it when writing the script.

The Kitchen

This is where the most dialogue in the house is spoken between Tyler, Leanne and Olivia ( Jerome, Rose and Maria). They say the kitchen is the heart of the house and I like this location because I think the scene will come out great, even though it was not how I had visualise it when writing the script.

The College (Outside and Inside)

  

The outside of the College is going to be used for an establishing shot and the inside of the college will be used for several different shots and scenes. I like location because you do not need permission to film, also, my scenes have to be shot inside the college.

The Canteen

I like this location because it’s open and exposed, where everyone knows what’s going on and can see what’s going on which is what I want for that scene. I want he scene to be quite big. This is where Lexi is angry at Tyler and she confronts him and something that he did.

Therapist Office

This location is behind the college theatre. Even though, I had told mark therapist room rather than medical therapy room, I think this is a good location to film the therapist scene in.

The Stairs

This location is used when Tyler gets a flashback of Lexi. Unfortunately, I was unable to do this scene so, this location was not used.
