For my final major project the idea to make a film based around Revenge and Infatuation.

My Initial idea

My initial idea is to make a short film based on the themes Infatuation and Revenge.

Storyline

It’s a guy who gets rejected by the girls he likes in primary school so, he seeks revenge. However, as he seeks out revenge on the last victim he meets his best friend and becomes infatuated with her. However, there is a twist.

Updated Storyline

After looking over the feedback given, I have expanded my storyline. I think that this version explains more about what I want to do and what the film is about.

It is a guy who takes revenge out on the girls that rejected him in primary (year 6), he admired them but, they were rude and rejected him. He kills each one of them in different ways until there are no victims left.

In my film, his two last victims are shown. He murders the first victim and then is pursuing the second victim. As he pursues his last victim, he comes across his best friend from primary school and then becomes infatuated with her. However, there’s a twist and the twist is that she is already infatuated with him. He was too busy chasing those other girls to notice her.

She witnesses all the terrible things that he has been doing because she stalks him, everywhere he goes she goes to. As he does terrible things to the girls she takes pleasure in it. At some point, he finds out that she is infatuated with him and thinks that will connect them (they have a similarity). However, she is much crazier and infatuated with him than he is with her. So, what she does is she knocks him out and confesses her love for him but then accidentally kills him. Then kills herself.

Feedback:

1. I think that you have a really good storyline, the story seems unique as I don’t recall seeing something like that before. Also, you focus well on the progression from when your characters vengeful feelings first arise. – Francis

Francis gave me great positive feedback back. He also asked me questions such as how many people will die in the main characters killing spree, which I answered. There will two girls killed that will be shown and one girl best friend. I think that Francis’s feedback really clarified a few aspects of the film for me.

Final Story

After doing the script, trying to make it the best I can and receiving feedback from my peers. This is my final storyline.

My film is about a guy named Aaron who seeks revenge on the females that rejected him in year 6. There are 2 victims left on his agenda which you see in this film. The first victim is named Lily and she is stabbed by Aaron at night. The next day he sees Courtney who is his final victim. As she is walking somewhere she meets Aaron. She meets him because a bystander bumps into her in the road and she drops her keys, Aaron is following her and sees her keys but as he gives them back he offers to have a picnic with her, she says no at first saying that she has a girlfriend but then changes her mind due to his charming nature. The next day, Aaron has the picnic with Courtney in the park, however, Courtney brings a guest who is her girlfriend Kelly. Aaron starts to fancy Kelly even though she is a lesbian, they all get acquainted and are enjoying the picnic when Courtney looks at her phone and has to leave because of work. Courtney has to leave and wants Kelly to come with her, however, Kelly doesn’t want to and they have an argument because Courtney wants Kelly to leave with her. In the end, Kelly convinces Courtney to stay.AftCourtneyney leaves Aaron and Kelly continue the picnic and he tells Kelly how Courtney met Aaron. Once he tells the story she invites him to her place because Aaron wanted to get close to Courtney but she left the picnic and he wanted to leave to. Aaron accepts the invitation to Kelly’s house because he is interested in her.

They get to Kelly’s house, Kelly invites him in, tells him to sit down and then she offers to make him coffee. Whilst she is making coffee Aaron starts to wonder around the house and sees a shrine that she created of him, whilst making the coffee she notices how quiet it is and she starts to look around with the coffee in hand, she realises the Aaron is upstairs so she takes the coffee upstairs and puts it on the side and once she has seen him looking at the shrine dedicated to him and hits him over the head with a bottle. Then, she takes him back to the living and ties him to a chair, she is still holding the bottle. Aaron regains consciousness and starts to freak out, she confesses her love for him and confesses he likes her. She releases him from his restraints still holding the bottle to protect herself, he goes in to hug her and tries to take the from her which he does pushes her out the way and runs upstairs. Kelly chases after him, tackles him and as he tries to escape she pours hot coffee on his leg, Aaron screams, pushes her and goes into the bathroom. Aaron in the bathroom, holding his leg in pain whilst Kelly is still trying to convince him to like her. In denial about their love for each other, after a while, she goes quiet and walks to the living so that she can get the rope she tied him up with then goes back upstairs. He thinks that she has given up because there is no noise and he heard her go back downstairs, however, he didn’t hear come back up and opens the bathroom to escape. He crawls out of the bathroom but she hiding waiting to pounce, once he has crawled out of the bathroom she strangles him to death, gets up and walks away.
