Secondary Research is when you receive information from a second-hand source, (information that is not your own and was found by somebody else), such as the internet, films, a book or magazine/newspaper.
This link leads you to a video showing a group of students that used to go to Westminister Kingsway College, who are debating about whether the British Museum is an object or just a building with object in it. Even though it has the students opinion on the British Museum, it has the staffs knowledge for example, the curator of the British Museum and the British Museum historian. It is insightful and their opinions make you ponder.
This link leads you to to a video on the British Museum website where they are young people from SOVA national volunteer mentoring organisation. They are being introduced to the Ife head from West Africa by the British Museum curators Chris Spring and Julie Hudson and explore their own ideas and thoughts about what it is and what it represents. In my opinion, I feel that some comments were a bit ignorant to say and others are justifiable and make sense.
You should include films as part of the list of secondary sources that can be used in research.
