Ali’s Feedback on my Final Product

After listening to Ali’s feedback, I agree with a lot of what she had to say however, I do disagree with her comment about the Canteen scene. The reason why no one knows why she slapped him is to create mystery and to make the audience so that they can get excited to see the next episode.

Karim’s Feedback on my Final Product

Very well put, the dialogue worked well for each of the scenes and the stage direction for the characters was spot on, the atmospheric sound for each scene fitted well and was necessary, any other added sound would have ruined the scene a bit. The techniques whilst filming were varied in a good way. It was clear, direct and I felt like watching an actual pilot. It made you want more scenes, it has the right structure of a standard pilot. Overall great episode, quite entertaining.

Karim’s feedback on my final product is very positive which I like. From the dialogue to the filming techniques, I liked how he thought that I had the right structure of a standard TV pilot. However, I do feel that some of the atmospheric sound overpowered the actors dialogue.

Carla’s Feedback on my Final product

Camera work was alright but a shot like the lift for example, I thought it would be best as portrait form for some reason but nothing else bothered me. I think that it should have background music in many scenes because I kept hearing a lot of noise that distracted me from the scene but some noise such as when they were in the canteen was fine since it made it feel more realistic. In addition, the audio was hard to listen to sometimes e.g. when the other was talking and when Tyler and the girl was sitting down on the floor whilst talking, I could hardly hear her.
The acting was alright but once again that girl who was with Tyler seemed like she was reading from a script and also that scene where they were sitting down, I couldn’t see her face which made me a bit annoyed for some reason and that could be a reason of why I couldn’t hear her properly. His crying could be better.

The story seemed slow but intriguing because it’s not explained about what is wrong with him, why he seemed clueless, why people were staring at him and why that girl slapped him etc. The ending made me frown since I wanted to hear what he was going to say which is good since it will make me want to watch the next video. Overall, I enjoyed it and it may have some faults but I couldn’t do better.

Carla’s feedback is very detailed which is great because it informs me that she has analysed my final product as she was watching it, plus she has put thought into her response. After reading Carla’s feedback I have seen that there are positive and negative comments about it, one positive comment is that the camerawork which encouraging as well as the fact that she said that she frowned because she wanted to watch more, which is what I was going for. There were some negative comments about the acting and the audio which I will improve on in the future, but overall she enjoyed watching it and that is fantastic. Carla’s feedback was very useful.

Eryk’s Feedback on my Final Product

I like that Eryk thought that my the final product of my final major project was interesting. Eryk said that I should make another episode, I think that it is very flattering as well as comforting to that my final project is good, because I was anxious about the audio which I had mentioned in the voice recording, which he said was good for the most part, so.

Kenneth’s Feedback on my Final Product

The feedback given to me by Kenneth is positive, which is good. I agree with what Kenneth said about the audio and it’s bad in some places and the camera being quite at one point, that was due to me holding the boom pole and my shoulder rig at the same time. Other than that I like Kenneth’s feedback, it was very useful.

Eleanor’s Feedback on my Final Product

The dialogue was good and everything was good however, it was just annoying that the camera was kinda shaky.

Eleanor’s feedback is short but insightful, I agree with the camera being shaky but I know what to do next time, other than that she said everything was good and that is reassuring to know.

Overall Conclusion:

I think that their feedback is useful and it has helped me for future projects that will occur in the future. After I giving my opinion everybody’s feedback, I feel that feedback is always important when doing your work, especially constructive feedback. I think that it helps you strengthen your weaknesses and helps you know what to do better next time.
