Costume

Daily casual clothing

The daily casual clothing is what each character is going where in each scene, the costume is going to be what my actors wear on the day. Rahsaan tried to dress to appeal to the characters characteristics which are deep and goth. Rose dressed fancy as if she is going somewhere nice, this is because she meets Aaron and she thought the character would be dressed up so she looks good for him. Carla wore casual clothing with boots that she would wear the whole way through the film, she dressed up in greys and colour that are linked to the characteristics of Kelly and Patricia wore a pink top with a checkered top I think she wore clothing based on her own preference and it looked good. I wore anything because I’m just an extra.

Props

Fake Knife

 

I went to the escapade to look for a fake knife for the production of my film, however, 4 pound knife looked fake and the psycho knife was pricey. In the end, I did buy the 4 pound knife but I’m not going to use either of them and decided to go with scissors that were recommended by my brother, David.

I used these scissors in the production of my film and I think that it went really well, these scissors were very effective.

Periscope (mobile app)

Creation of the periscope account

Periscope is a live streaming app that I will be using for my film. I am using Periscope to film some of the first scenes of the movie. Before using Periscope I created the two accounts so that they portray characters and make the film more realistic. Furthermore, when Rahsaan (Aaron) texts Rosina (Lily) on periscope, it has to display Aaron’s name on it so the Periscope flows well.

Cereal, spoon and bowl

I will be using these props in one of the scenes in my film. It is used when Aaron is in the kitchen thinking about Lily and Courtney.

This is the picture that I used for the scene where Aaron looks at the picture of his next victim Courtney, who is played by Patricia.

Watch

The watch is used by my main character to check the time.

Keys

Aaron picks up these keys to get talk to Courtney.

Picnic Basket

The basket will be used for the picnic scene, I think that this looks like a traditional basket that you may go on a date with.

Picnic Food

I have a friend named Kuaine and he is a chef. He recommended so picnic food that is cheap and delicious for the actors to eat such as fruit, sandwiches, juice and crisps.

Coffee, Mug, Kettle

These props are used towards the end of the movie before Kelly kills Aaron in the house, she offers him a beverage.

The shrine for Aaron

This shrine will be used in the film, Aaron sees the shrine before Kelly hits him over the head with a heavy object. I used pictures of Rahsaan which I printed out from the library and cut out the enlarged print out using scissors.

Blunt object

The heavy object is a large Wray and Nephew bottle that my brother lent me so that I could film the movie.

Liquid Latex

I bought liquid latex because I was going to create a coffee burn, however, I changed my mind because I learnt that burns show hours after the hot substances is applied so I didn’t need it. I went to go buy it at Escapade in Camden.

Fake Blood

I bought two bottles of fake blood from the escapade store in Camden, I am using it for all the scenes involving blood such as the beginning of the film and the end of the film.

Rope

This is the rope that is used to tie Aaron up, it is also the same rope that Kelly kills Aaron with. I decide to change the prop that Kelly kills Aaron with because a peer of mine made a valid point about cling film being unrealistic and easy to get out from.
